DENTAL CLINIC #1 CLOSED, Ongoing:
Dental Clinic #1, near Cottrell Field, is closed until further notice for maintenance on a leaking roof.  Soldiers needing to clear post due to PCSing, ETSing, or Retiring should please go to Dental Clinic #4 down the road - just past the golf course. The address there is 343 Warrior Road, Bldg 2115.  Appointments may be scheduled or rescheduled through the DENTAC Single Access Line at (912) 435-6777.

FS COMMISSARY CASELOT SALE, Sept. 11-14:

BRADWELL INSTITUTE MILITARY APPRECIATION GAME, Today: 
Bradwell Institute High School will hold a Military Appreciation Night on Friday Sept. 12, Football kickoff at 7:30 at Olvey Field, Hinesville. The Tigers will host the Richmond Hill Wildcats in this exciting match up. The event is open to the public and all Active Duty and Retired Military will be admitted free to the game. Family members may purchase discount $5 advanced tickets at Bradwell's front office or $7 admission at the gate.  Please come early to the Free Pre-Game activities beginning at 6 p.m. to listen to Liberty County's band - Third Class Citizens.  The staff at Bradwell would like the opportunity to show our support of our local military assigned to Fort Stewart/Hunter AAF and the 3rd ID and to aLL men and women in uniform. SEPTEMBER/OTHER HEADLINES

GARRISON COMMANDER SUPERVISOR TRAINING-FS, Sept. 15 and 18: 
The Garrison Commander will conduct mandatory training for all Garrison Civilian Supervisors and those in uniform that supervise Garrison Civilians, AF and NAF on Sept. 15 from 10-11 a.m. and on Sept. 18 from 8 am to 9 am.  at the SFC Paul R smith Education Center Auditorium. A make-up session will be held on 25 SEP from 9-10 am in the Garrison Conference Room, Bldg 624. Sign-in begins 30 minutes prior to start time. ACS CLOSED, Sept. 19:
ACS at both Stewart and Hunter will be closed to the public on Sept 19.  Essential Services such as Victim Advocate will still be available.  For Emergency AER assistance, Soldiers can contact the American Red Cross.  For questions, please call FS at (912) 767-5058 or Hunter Army Airfield at (912) 315-6816.  This will be an all day closure.

AAFEES SURVEY, through Sept. 26: 
Hunter AAFES will conduct its annual customer survey through Sept. 26 at its Main Store. Everyone is invited to stop by and take the survey, which takes about 10-20 minutes to complete. They will receive a $5 store coupon for their time and effort. The surveys are located next to the customer service office and are available Mon.- Fri., 9:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.; Sat., 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.; and Sun. 11 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Call 912-352-8380, if you have questions.

FOOD HANDLER'S CLASS, Sept. 29: 
A food handler's class will be offered at Winn Army Community Hospital  in the Patriot Auditorium from 9-10 a.m. FREE class, certification is good for one year. To register for this class, please submit your first and last name to Richele.L.Martinez.civ@mail.mil by COB Thursday, Sept. 25.  Registration is a requirement in order to attend this class by the deadline due to certification printing, and you must be on time. This class is mandated for all those dealing with food items on FSGA/HAAF (Unit functions, Organizational Days, FRG Events) For more information, please call 912-435-5087 or 912-318-3788.

TRIPLE R. RANCH, Sept 30:
ACS is proud to partner with the Marne Community and Spouses Club to bring you the TRIPLE R RANCH. 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 30 at Club Stewart with the Triple R. Ranch.  This wonderful event will help build resiliency, camaraderie, and the spirit of Military Spouse. We wish to enable military spouses to positively embrace the Military lifestyle, promote the prevention of domestic violence and child abuse, and take time out for self care.  Please register at (912) 767- 1257.

MILITARY WORKPLACE STUDY, Sept. 30:
The DoD is conducting a study to assess workplace relations and recent experiences of service members. This web-based survey assesses your recent experiences with military workplace relations, professionalism, and personal safety.  This voluntary survey is short, and it is important, so we urge you to make time to complete it.   Everyone's responses are needed so that we can better understand the presence or absence of problems in the military workplace.  All active duty and reserve component service members have been invited to participate in the study via email and regular mail. The survey can be completed on or off duty, at home or at work, using a government computer, smart phone, or home computer. It’s OK to forward the survey to a personal email address.  Participation is voluntary and confidential. The deadline for the survey is Sept. 30.   

MORE SURVEY PARTICIPATION NEEDED TO HELP SHAPE MWR 

SERVICES AT HUNTER, through Oct. 17:
At least 35 more participants are needed to meet the essential participation number of an exclusively online Army MWR Services Survey to determine present and future service and recreation needs at Hunter Army Airfield. The survey continues until Oct. 17. Active Duty, spouses, retirees and DoD civilians who work, live or play at Hunter are invited to take the survey at http://bit.ly/1AXiGTE <http://bit.ly/1AXiGTE>. Survey responses will have a significant impact on MWR services and facilities at Hunter. MWR sponsors events and activities for children and adults and operates facilities such as Tominac Fitness Center, the outdoor pool, golf course, outdoor recreation, Leisure Travel School Age Services and the Auto Skills Center, to name a few. Child, Youth and School Services operations fall under MWR.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE FOR ACES COLLEGE GRADUATION CEREMONY, Oct 26:
The 33rd Annual College Graduation is 7 p.m. Nov. 14 at the Main Post Chapel. The event is open to all Military, Family Members, Retirees, and employees if you are within nine semester hours of completing degree requirements or have earned a degree, certificate or diploma since Jan, 2013. ARMY FAMILY ACTION PLAN SUBMISSIONS, 
Submit by Oct. 8: 
The Army can’t fix what they don’t know is broken.  Submit your AFAP issue today and be a part of improving your Army’s future! For additional information on AFAP or to be a part of this important process, contact your local AFAP office at ACS, 912-767-3863. Issue forms can be submitted online at www.stewart.army.mil, Army Community Service, then click on Army Family Action Plan to submit your issue locally or for Global Army.  Remember to list your issue, why it is a problem, who is effected and what you would like to see happen to solve the problem.  Issues can also be emailed directly to Rebecca.e.sellars.civ@mail.mil  Issues will be reviewed at the Annual AFAP conference on Oct. 8.

2015 WALT DISNEY WORLD MILITARY SALUTE TICKETS NOW AVAILABLE:
2015 Walt Disney World Military Salute tickets are now available at Stewart/Hunter Leisure Travel offices and can be used starting Sept. 28. Tickets are four-day park hoppers, four-day base with fun, for $177 (ages 3 and up), or a four-day park hopper with fun for $207. Tickets can only be activated by active duty, retirees or their spouses. Six tickets is the maximum number you may purchase. Hours for the Stewart office (912-767-2841), located in PX Furniture Mall Complex, are 9:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday.  Hours for the Hunter office (912-315-3674), located in Hunter PX Exchange, are 9:30.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday.

DESPICABLE ME 2’ MOVIE AT JORDAN FITNESS CENTER, Tonight (Sept. 12) 
Because of predicted inclement weather on Friday, the summer outdoor movies series showing of "Despicable Me 2" (rated PG), has been moved to Jordan Fitness Center, building 608. The free show starts at 7:30 p.m. Friday. Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase on a cash basis from Family Readiness Groups. Bring lawn chairs and blankets. VOLUNTEER NIGHT AT TAYLORS CREEK GOLF COURSE, Sept. 15:
Join the volunteers who help keep the clubhouse and grounds at Taylors Creek Golf Course in tip-top shape. There are lots of tasks available for all who want to help. ‘GIRLS ON THE GREENS’ GOLF CLINIC AT STEWART, Sept. 17:
Free clinic from 10:30 a.m.-noon Sept. 17 at Taylors Creek Golf Course is for women only. Learn the basics of the golf swing and putting mechanics, rules of golf, terminology and course etiquette. LEWIS CLASS SKEET AND TRAP SHOOT, Sept. 20: 
(Register by Sept. 18.) A Lewis Class Skeet and Trap Shoot will be held at 9 a.m. Sept. 20 at the Fort Stewart Skeet Range, building 8332, at Holbrook Recreation Area.  Prizes and door prizes will be awarded. “BEND-THE-BAR” POWERLIFTING AND BENCH PRESS CHALLENGE, Sept. 20 (Registration ongoing.) Registration is under way for the Stewart/Hunter “Bend-the-Bar” Powerlifting and Bench Press Challenge at 10 a.m. Sept. 20 at 4th IBCT Fitness Center. Men and women will compete in 12 weight classes, following USPF rules. Winners must have a successful lift in squat, bench and deadlift. T-shirts will be given to each paying participant and prizes will be awarded in all weight classes. Entry fee is $15 per person until Sept. 15 and $20 per person after Sept. 15. POST-WIDE HOUSING GARAGE SALE AT STEWART/HUNTER, Oct. 4:

Register to have your on-post garage sale location noted on a map of Post-Wide Housing Garage Sale sites at Stewart and Hunter from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Oct. 4. There is no charge. Only residents of post housing are eligible to sell, but everyone, including civilians in nearby communities, is invited to the neighborhood garage sale throughout Stewart and Hunter post housing areas. The Marne Message submission email address is USARMY Fort Stewart ID List ALL Message Request (on the global) or typed as: usarmy.stewart.3-id.list.all-message-request@mail.mil. In order to keep the Marne Message timely and concise, limit submissions to 75 words or less. Do not use military times. Attachments cannot be included, but links to more online information can. Only official installation, MWR, or command directed messages are considered. Marne Messages are posted daily at www.stewart.army.mil, and www.facebook.com/3rd.Infantry.Division>. MESSAGES HAVE A 3-DAY RUN LIMIT; you may, however, re-submit after 3rd day for continuations. Please submit your messages by 9:45 a.m. daily for inclusion in the same-day message.

IF YOU HAVE PCS'D:
If you have moved and are no longer assigned to Fort Stewart or Hunter Army Airfield, follow these instructions to change your duty location. Go to Milconnect at https://www.dmdc.osd.mil/milconnect, login, select the "My profile" tab, select "Update and View My Profile", select the tab that corresponds to your current role in DoD (i.e. Mil, CIV, CTR, etc).  On the duty installation drop down menu select your correct duty location.  Your name will be removed from Marne Message distribution lists at the next scheduled update which is performed monthly.
