5K GLOW RUN/WALK, Friday:
Fort Stewart Medical Dept. Activity (MEDDAC) hosts a
5K Glow Run/ Walk Friday night. Event-day registration
is from 5:30-6:30 p.m. and the event goes from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. It will be
held at the Warrior Transition Battalion's courtyard at Niles Ave & E. 9th
St. Entry fees are $12 early registration, $15 same day registration (ages
12+), free entry for ages 11 and under. Glow sticks/accessories provided with
registration and event t-shirts will be given to first 25 adults to register.
Event t-shirts can be preordered for $10 (child S-L; adult S-L) to $12 (XL-3XL)
each. Costumes, glow sticks/necklaces, strollers & wagons are strongly

LARGE CALIBER RIFLE SHOOT, Saturday:
Soldiers, Retirees, Army Civilians, and civilian guests
have an opportunity to sight-in large caliber weapons Saturday from 9 a.m.-2
p.m. at Small Arms November Range on Fort Stewart. Targets provided and
shooting benches available for use at each point. The cost is $5 per two-hour
block/person. Directions to range: from Gulick Avenue, take 15th Street to
McFarland. At McFarland, turn right onto FS Road 40 and follow signs. The range
is past the main railhead, one-half mile on the right. For more information,

HUNTER TURKEY TROT FUN RUN, Saturday:
Come out to the Turkey Trot Fun Run, a free,
non-competitive Family event where you can walk or run 5K or 1.5 miles.
Everyone who runs or walks the race route will be eligible for the drawing of a
