HAAF-STEWART TRICK OR TREAT SCHEDULE, Friday:

FS/HAAF CHAPELS ANNUAL FALL FESTIVAL, Friday:
The Fort Stewart Main Post Chapel and the Hunter Army Airfield Chapel will hold their Annual Fall Festival on Friday. The Fall Festival activities will be held from 5:30- 7:30 p.m. at FS Main Post Chapel, Bldg 500; and Hunter Chapel, Bldg 145. In order to participate: ALL Children must be accompanied by their Parent or Legal Guardian. There will be 100% Parent /Legal Guardian Photo ID check. Everyone is invited to have a great time, enjoy food, fellowship, and become acquainted with the many RSO services/activities through the chapel programs, Religious Education and Worship Services. NEW MARNE MESSAGE POLICY begins Saturday: 
Beginning Saturday, the Marne Message will only be sent twice weekly on Mondays and Thursdays.  The deadline for the Monday Marne Message will be COB Friday, and the deadline for the Thursday Marne Message will be COB Wednesday. All incoming requests for Marne Messages will still be posted to the Google Blogger, http://marnemessage.blogspot.com/. The blogger link is posted on the bottom of the Website at www.stewart.army.mil.  But we will continue to email the Marne Message twice weekly. Marne Message submissions should still be made to:

HOT AIR BALLOON ACCESS, Saturday & Sunday:
All military and civilian vehicles must enter Rio Gate to access the Hot Air Balloon Festival, Saturday & Sunday. Rio Gate is the only access to the festival. Other Hunter areas will be accessible thru Montgomery St. Gate. Please plan accordingly. For more information, call 912-315-5617.

RED, WHITE AND BLUE HOT AIR BALLOON FESTIVAL AT HUNTER, 

Saturday, Sunday (Nov. 1, Nov. 2):
Enjoy live music and entertainment during the Red, White and Blue Hot Air Balloon Festival  Saturday and Sunday (Nov. 1 and Nov. 2) at Saber Hall, Hunter. All Balloon Festival patrons must enter Hunter via the Rio Gate. Festival hours are 6:30-10 a.m. and 4-8 p.m. Saturday (Nov. 1) and 6:30-10 a.m. Sunday (Nov. 2). Tethered balloon rides, at $5 per person, will be offered each morning. The festival also will include military static displays, candy walk, pay-as-you-go inflatables and food vendors. CYBER SECURITY CLASS FOR SOLDIERS & FAMILY MEMBERS, Nov. 12-14:
Second Regional Cyber Center-Western Hemisphere (2RCC-WH, formerly known as RCERT), will host a Cybersecurity Class for Families 1-2 p.m. and 6-7 p.m. Nov. 13 at Woodruff Theater on Fort Stewart. The class is to create awareness of home cyber security importance and Army tools available for personal use, safe home computing, social media, smart phone/tablet safety & security (PII). MARNE DIVISION BALL, Nov. 21:
Come celebrate the 3rd Infantry Division’s 97th Birthday at beautiful Jekyll Island.  The Division Ball is at the Jekyll Island Convention Center, Nov. 21 starting at 5:30 p.m.  Guests are given the option of a fine chicken or steak meal and a memento.  The evening also includes a guest speaker, dancing, and a photographer on site to commemorate the evening.  Tickets are available through your Brigade or Unit representatives and are available only to 3ID military, DA civilians, contractors & Gold Star Families. FOOD HANDLER'S CLASS, Nov. 24:
This class will be held at Winn ACH in the Patriot Auditorium from 9-10 a.m. FREE class, certification is good for one year. To register for this class, please submit your first and last name to Mrs. Richele Martinez, Richele.L.Martinez.civ@mail.mil by COB Nov. 20. Pre-registration is a REQUIREMENT in order to attend this class, and you must be on time, no-walk-ins are permitted.  This class is mandated for all those dealing with food items on FSGA/HAAF (Unit functions, Organizational Days, FRG Events). SAVE THOSE JUGS!
Now that you have finished drinking the liquids (milk, tea, juice, etc.) out of those 1-gallon milk jugs, don't throw them away! Save them for a recycle project that the Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation will be creating AGAIN this year for the Christmas holiday season. Your contribution goes toward making igloos and other seasonal products. You have to see them to believe these awesome scenic display made from your very own recycles! RESILIENCY TRAINING V3:
ACS is excited to announce Version 3, a brand new version of Resiliency Training for Family Members, Soldiers and Department of the Army Civilians.  This training is changing the culture of our Soldiers and Families and DA Civilians by helping them gain the confidence to change their thinking patterns, understand the power of positive emotion and learn how all the resiliency skills can improve performance and relationships. STEWART/HUNTER OPERATION RISING STAR COMPETITION, Tonight:
The final round will be at 6:30 p.m. tonight at Thunder Run. First prize is $500, second $250 and third $100. Family Readiness Groups or units are eligible to win the Spirit Award – $300 toward their unit funds – or other prizes, regardless of whether they have a competitor in the competition. COMMANDING GENERAL'S GOLF SCRAMBLE AT TAYLORS CREEK, Friday:

SIGN UP FOR MANAGED HUNTS AT FORT STEWART, Nov. 8, Nov. 22, Dec. 20:
Active Duty Soldiers and Retirees can register until Wednesday for one of three Outdoor Recreation managed hunts at Fort Stewart this season. Sign up at the Stewart or Hunter Pass and Permit offices. The Nov. 8 hunt will be held in Training Area Delta and the deadline for registration is Wednesday. The second hunt will be Nov. 22 in the Red Cloud Area and the registration deadline is Nov. 12. The third hunt will be in the Bravo 4 area Dec. 20, with a selection drawing on Dec. 10. Fifty participants will be selected in a lottery type drawing when registration ends. A $10 fee per hunter is payable upon selection for the hunt. For more information, call either of the Pass and Permit offices. HAAF CYSS PARENT CENTRAL SERVICES RELOCATING:
CYSS Parent Central Services at Hunter Army Airfield is relocating to 304 N. Perimeter Road, building 6054. The facility will be closed Thursday and Friday to make the move and will reopen at the new location on Monday, Nov. 3. PAWS IN THE PARK FALL FESTIVAL, Nov. 8:

Only official installation, MWR, or command directed messages are considered. Marne Messages are posted daily at www.stewart.army.mil, and www.facebook.com/3rd.Infantry.Division>. MESSAGES HAVE A 3-DAY RUN LIMIT; you may, however, re-submit after 3rd day for continuations. Please submit your messages by 9:45 a.m. daily for inclusion in the same-day message.

Go to Milconnect at https://www.dmdc.osd.mil/milconnect, login, select the "My profile" tab, select "Update and View My Profile", select the tab that corresponds to your current role in DoD (i.e. Mil, CIV, CTR, etc).  On the duty installation drop down menu select your correct duty location.  Your name will be removed from Marne Message distribution lists at the next scheduled update which is performed monthly.
