(Ongoing) PERSONAL EMAIL SITES BLOCKED:

Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER) has ordered DISA to block commercial personal email site access on the Army Network to locations such as: Yahoo!, Gmail, MSN and many others due to an immediate spear phishing threat. It is currently undetermined as to when the block will be lifted or how long it will be in effect. You can still send and receive to and from those addresses, but logging in to the commercial email service is blocked or hindered. Local support staff cannot change this service availability.

(March 28) FOOD HANDLER'S CLASS:

This class will be held at Winn ACH in the Patriot Auditorium from 9-10 a.m. FREE class, certification is good for one year. To register for this class, please submit your first and last name to usarmy.stewart.medcom-winn.list.environmental-health-services@mail.mil by COB March 24. Pre-registration is a requirement in order to attend this class, and you must be on time, no-walk-ins are permitted. This class is mandated for all those dealing with food items on FSGA/HAAF (Unit functions, Organizational Days, FRG Events). For more information, call 912-435-5087.



(March 28) LRC WAREHOUSE INVENTORY RESCHEDULED:

The Fort Stewart Logistics Readiness Center, Supply and Services Division, Supply Support Activity Warehouse inventory has been rescheduled for March 28-April 1. During this time the Logistics Readiness Center will process high priority requisitions (walk-ups) approved by the G-8, and will accept turn-ins. The turn in section will sign for turn-ins that are directed to the Logistics Readiness Center and will not be processed in GCSS-Army until the inventory is completed.  For additional information individuals may call 912-435-0321.

(March 29) ACS SOLDIER/FAMILY DEPLOYMENT EXPO:

In order to be fiscally responsible and reduce man hours needed to execute events, ACS will start conducting large scale deployment information fairs.  The purpose of the ACS sponsored Deployment Expo is to properly prepare all Soldiers and Family Members deploying or leaving Garrison for more than 30 days in the next 3 months. (March 30 and April 7) PREPARE FOR THE STEWART ACS HIRING FAIR:

Army Community Service (ACS) will host a hiring fair at Club Stewart on April 20. (April 1) WALK WITH THE GARRISON COMMANDER:

Effective April 1, the Fort Stewart Range Control Orientation Brief for OIC/RSO will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays ONLY.  Classes are held in building 626A (Distance Learning Center Annex); doors open at 9 a.m. and class begins at 9:30 a.m. Certification Memorandums will be presented at the time of attendance.  Alpha Rosters with a signed cover letter, or memorandum older than 30 days will not be accepted. (April 7) HELPING CHILDREN DEAL WITH LOSS:

A 6 week program starting April 7 for adults to help children deal with death, divorce, Pet loss, moving and other losses. There are many myths that deal with sad emotions and they end up confusing children.  Learn how to replace these myths with practical guidance.  Space is limited to 12 slots, but during training, dinner will be provided. Registration being accepted for an overnight trip to the National White Water Center near Charlotte, N.C. Group will depart at 5 a.m. July 16 for the Center.
