publication each Monday. The Marne
Message will continue to be posted to http://marnemessage.blogspot.com. The Marne Message submission email address is
USARMY Fort Stewart ID List ALL Message Request (on the global) or typed as:
usarmy.stewart.3-id.list.all-message-request@mail.mil. In order to keep the
Marne Message timely and concise, limit submissions to 75 words or less. Do not
use military times. Attachments cannot be included, but links to more online
information can. Only official installation, MWR, or command directed messages

GARRISON COMMANDER SUPERVISOR TRAINING-FS (Make-up),
March 25:
The Garrison Commander will conduct a make-up training
session for all Garrison Civilian Supervisors and those in uniform that
supervise Garrison Civilians, AF and NAF, 9-10 a.m. March 25 in the Garrison

TRAFFIC WARNING ON SIGMA STREET, March 27:
Commuters are encouraged to use caution on Fort Stewart
as railroad crossing construction is planned for Sigma Street from March 27
from 6 a.m. until April 27. DPW is only closing areas around the 5 railroad
crossings on Sigma Street. Motorist are
encouraged to avoid this area to minimize traffic congestion and be alert to
changes in traffic patterns. For more

We have received the results of the ACS Needs Assessment
which allowed you, our clients and customers, to have your voice heard. We take
your feedback very seriously and are currently reviewing the results. Please

APRIL/OTHER HEADLINES
The Directorate of Emergency Services will close the Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield Visitor Control Centers between the hours of 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. This measure is being taken to help the Garrison's ability to determine future planning efforts of our Access Control and Visitor Control Measures. All visitors who have a valid pass or Common Access Card / Military ID to access post unescorted will be able to access post as normal. Visitors who do not have a valid pass or Common Access Card / Military ID will not be granted unescorted access to the installation and will be required to have a valid Common Access Card / Military ID holder physically meet them at Gate 1 (FS) or the Montgomery Gate (HAAF) for access. The valid ID Holder will be the visitor's "Sponsor" while on the installation. Once the sponsor meets their guest at the gate they will be allowed to follow their sponsor in their vehicle to their final destination. Visitors will be logged onto post once the sponsor arrives at the gate. The Sponsor will be responsible and held accountable to maintain positive control of those they escort on and off the installation. Sponsors are also responsible for the personal conduct of their visitors. Only valid Sponsors 18 and older will be allow to sponsor Guests/Visitors during this time period. Up to five visitors will be allowed per sponsor. Sponsors who fail to obey this directive could lose the privilege of sponsoring future guests or visitors. Army Airfield Garrison Commander, will conduct the bi-annual Fort Stewart State
of the Garrison, Tues. Apr. 14, 1 to 3 p.m., at the Main Post Chapel. Lt. Col. Will Bowman, Garrison Commander,
Hunter Army Airfield, will conduct the Hunter State of the Garrison Thurs.,
Apr. 16, 1 to 3 p.m., at the Hunter Chapel.
Topics include IMCOM CG priorities, Leadership change, Things We Are
Proud Of, What's Next, Resources, and Awards.
The State of the Garrison is a bi-annual event to share information with
the workforce, and are open to all Garrison employees.
TEA TIME WITH TODDLERS, April 16:
Come join us at the Family Advocacy Program's Tea Time
with Toddlers 10:30 a.m. to Noon April 16. This is a Child Abuse Prevention
Awareness event for children ages 0 to 4 years old and will be held at the Fort

FAMILY FUN RUN/WALK, April 18:
The ACS Family Advocacy Program will be hosting a Family
Fun Run/Walk. Saturday April 18; 9:30-11:30 a.m. in the parking lot of Youth

participate. The event is in observance of Child Abuse Awareness Month. This is

TINY TOT CARNIVAL, April 30:

TRAFFIC WARNING FOR 16TH STREET, May 29:
Commuters are encouraged to use caution on Fort Stewart
as road construction is planned for East 6th Street for traffic between Harmon
Avenue and East Bultman, through 6 a.m. until May 26. In addition road
construction will close East 16th Street from Troop Avenue to Harmon
Avenue. The road will be closed from 6
a.m. until May 29. Detour signs and
traffic control devices will be displayed for the duration of the
closures. Motorist are encouraged to
avoid this area to minimize traffic congestion and be alert to changes in

COMMANDING GENERAL’S GOLF SCRAMBLE AT TAYLORS CREEK GOLF
COURSE, Friday (March 27):
The Commanding General’s Par 3 Golf Scramble will be held
at Taylors Creek Golf Course on Friday, March 27. Registration will continue
until 11 a.m. that day. The $45 per
person fee includes range balls, lunch, golf car and greens fees. Lunch begins
at noon and play begins at 1 p.m. with a shotgun start. Sponsors are Vaden

EXTREME COLOR RUN AT HOLBROOK POND RECREATION AREA,
Saturday (March 28):
Register at Stewart/Hunter Leisure Travel Offices or
online at https://webtrac.mwr.army.mil/webtrac/Stewartrectrac.html for the
Extreme Color Run at 9 a.m. Saturday. The untimed event will take runners
approximately five kilometers through Holbrook’s campground and tank trails.
Runners will be “colored” as they pass different color stations the length of
the run. Registration is $30 per person. The fee is $40 to register at sign-up
