(Today/ongoing) SUMMER ICHETUCKNEE RIVER TUBING TRIP REGISTRATION:  
Registration begins today and ends June 6 for the Summer Ichetuckneee River (Florida) Tubing trip on June 11. The cost is $30 per person, which includes entry fees, transportation and tube rental fee. Sign up on WebTrac, the Holbrook Equipment Rental Facility (building 8325) or the Stewart/Hunter Leisure Travel offices. (Today through Sunday) SPRING CARNIVAL AT WALKER FIELD:
The Stewart/Hunter Spring Carnival is coming to Fort Stewart’s Walker Field Thursday through Sunday. The carnival will feature a variety of rides for adults and children, plus skill games, food concessions and a beer garden. The public is welcome. Hours of operation are 5-10 p.m. today; 5 p.m.-midnight Friday; noon-midnight Saturday, and 1-10 p.m. Sunday. Pets, coolers, outside food and glass bottles are prohibited. Fees for rides will range from 3 or 4 tickets per ride. Single tickets are $1 each. Purchase 12 tickets for $10, 24 tickets for $20, or 50 tickets for $40. (Friday) MONTH OF THE MILITARY CHILD CYSS WHEELS DAY AT STEWART:
All are welcome to come out and enjoy a morning full of adventure at Wheels Day from 9:30 a.m. until noon Friday in the parking area directly behind Child Development Center, building 475. Celebrate the end of the tax season with Stewart/Hunter Cosmic Bingo at 10 p.m. Friday (April 15). High energy event with specials, drawings and giveaways. The USO presents singer-songwriter multi-instrumentalist Hunter Hayes in concert – free to DOD cardholders only – at 7:30 p.m. April 15 at Barton Field, Fort Gordon, Ga. (Saturday) FOOTGOLF TOURNAMENT AT STEWART:
Bring some friends and enjoy the fast-growing sport of Foot Golf. Taylors Creek Golf Course is hosting a Foot Golf Tournament on Saturday (April 16). Opportunity for Soldiers, Retirees, Army Civilians, and civilian guests to sight in large caliber weapons (registered at Fort Stewart) from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday (April 16) at Red Cloud Echo Range Complex (off GA Highway 119 North). Rifles of any caliber. No pistols or shotguns. Targets at 100-500 meters (paper) and 750-1,000 meters (steel). Cost is $15 per two-hour block/person. (Through Saturday) NATIONAL PUBLIC SAFETY TELECOMMUNICATORS WEEK:
Fort Stewart/HAAF 9-1-1 Center celebrates this year’s National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week in honor of their dedicated dispatchers who process nearly 50,000 emergency and non-emergency calls each year from both the Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield communities. Help us celebrate by remembering and thanking the emergency services dispatchers that are the heart of public safety. (Monday) PERSONNEL ROSTER DUE FOR HUNTER TRANSPORTATION TO STATE OF GARRISON:
Transportation will be provided for the Hunter Army Airfield workforce to attend the State of the Garrison (SOTG) address, April 21, 1-3 p.m. at Club Stewart. Buses will be staged at the south end of the Hunter Exchange parking lot, building 6020, 11:30 a.m., and depart at Noon to Fort Stewart. Buses will depart Fort Stewart at 3:30 p.m. to return to Hunter Army Airfield. Supervisors should provide the Hunter Garrison a roster of employees riding a bus to include their name/organization NLT 9 a.m., Monday at the weekly Command and Staff meeting. HAAF Headquarters will be closed during the SOTG, April 21, 11:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.

(Monday) BOSTON MARKET TAX OFFER:

(April 2016) FORT STEWART DINING FACILITY OPERATING HOURS:
Thunder Café (Bldg 3003, 1600 W. 6th Street), Marne Bistro (Bldg 726, 1902 William H. Dining Facilities open for Weekend/Holiday meals are Marne Bistro and Spartan DFACs.  Spartan DFAC will be closed after the lunch meal on 22 April and will reopen on 25 April.  Designated Weekend and Holiday Meal DFACs begin with the supper meal on Friday.  Hours are Brunch 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Supper 5-6:30 p.m.

(April 2016) FS WEEKDAY MEAL HOURS:
The Fort Stewart Weekday Meal hours for Breakfast are; Thunder Café 8-9:30 a.m.; Marne Bistro 7:45-9:15 a.m.; and Spartan, 8-9:30 a.m.   Weekday Lunch hours are 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. for Thunder Café and Marne Bistro DFACS; noon-1:30 p.m. for Spartan DFAC; and Dinner 5-6:30 p.m. for all DFACs.  Thursday Lunch and Dinner meal hours for all DFACs is; Lunch from Noon to 1:30 p.m.; and Dinner from 5-6:30 p.m.  Friday Dinner Meal hours are 4-5:30 p.m.

The Army Community Service (ACS) Relocation Program invites Ft. Stewart and Hunter Family Members to attend our monthly Hearts Apart Program meetings at both Ft. Play nine holes and drive the Monday blues away with each birdie and eagle at Taylors Creek Golf Course.
