WLC NIPR ACCESS:
Effective immediately for WLC class
01-15 all Soldiers must have a valid NIPER account allowing them to log on to
the computers as a DOD user, NOT AS A DOD VISTOR! Please ensure all Soldiers
know their pin number to their CAC. This is a new requirement from the
Department of the Army CIO G6. Please disseminate this information down to the lowest
unit level ASAP! Failure to follow these instruction will result in the student
inability to use any of the study or test taking material which will result in
dismissal.
VETERANS PARKWAY ROAD WIDENING STARTED:
Utility construction has begun on Veterans Parkway Widening Project. Motorists need to use extreme caution when passing equipment and be aware of workers on the ground near the roadway. POC for this Project is Matt Bolen, Project Manager, DPW, at 912-767-7049.

Beginning today the Liberty
County Satellite Tag Office, located at Fort Stewart in bldg 226, hours will

PASSPORT OFFICE CLOSURE, through Sept. 3:
The Fort
Stewart/HAAF Passport Office located at the Soldier Service Center, building
253, on Fort Stewart will be closed through Sept. 3. During this period, there
will be no passport processing capabilities.
If you require assistance with passports, please contact the Passport
Office at 912-767-6943 to schedule an appointment prior to Monday.

SIGN-UP EXTENDED FOR TOP OF THE ROCK 5K & 10K RUN,
Saturday (Sept. 6):
Registration for the Top of the Rock 5K & 10K Run has
been extended until Thursday (Sept. 4) at 3 p.m. The run is open to the public,
will have 10 age categories for male and female competitors, plus 10K Team
Competition for Active Duty with a minimum of 10 members from same company.
Register online only at www.ACTIVE.com <http://www.ACTIVE.com>. Trophies awarded to
the top three overall 5K and 10K male and female finishers, top two finishers
in each age category and top two team finishers. Participants will receive
T-shirts. The run begins at 8 a.m. between Newman Fitness Center and the Quick
Track. Cost to register before event is $25 for DoD ID cardholders, $30 for

LEWIS CLASS SKEET AND TRAP SHOOT, Sept. 20: (Register by

“BEND-THE-BAR” POWERLIFTING AND BENCH PRESS CHALLENGE,
Sept. 20 (Registration ongoing.)
Registration is under way for the
Stewart/Hunter “Bend-the-Bar” Powerlifting and Bench Press Challenge at 10 a.m.
Sept. 20 at the Johnson Fitness Center (formerly 4th IBCT Fitness Center). Men
and women will compete in 12 weight classes, following USPF rules. Winners must
have a successful lift in squat, bench and deadlift. T-shirts will be given to
each paying participant and prizes will be awarded in all weight classes. Entry
fee is $15 per person until Sept. 15 and $20 per person after Sept. 15. For

ROCKY CUP AT STERLING LINKS GOLF COURSE, RICHMOND HILL,

Cup format matches between both course players starting at 8 a.m. Sept. 20.

The Hinesville Downtown Development Authority
continues the “Movies in the Park” series in Bryant Commons’ amphitheater, at
438 Oglethorpe Highway in downtown Hinesville. “Cloudy with a Chance of
Meatballs 2” will be shown Oct. 3, and “Blind Slide” on Nov. 14. The shows will
begin at 7:30 p.m., with gates opening at 6:30 p.m. “Halloween” will be shown
October 31 at 10 p.m. No one under age

words or less. Do not use military times. Attachments cannot be included, but
links to more online information can. Only official installation, MWR, or

MESSAGES HAVE A 3-DAY RUN LIMIT; you may, however, re-submit after 3rd day for

login, select the "My profile" tab, select "Update and View My
Profile", select the tab that corresponds to your current role in DoD
(i.e. Mil, CIV, CTR, etc). On the duty
installation drop down menu select your correct duty location. Your name will be removed from Marne Message
distribution lists at the next scheduled update which is performed monthly.
