FS/HAAF Irrigation Schedule:
Irrigation on FS/HAAF may occur on scheduled days between the hours of 4 p.m.
and 10 a.m. Do NOT irrigate from 10 a.m.
- 4 p.m. Scheduled days for odd-numbered
addresses (building numbers) are Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. Scheduled days for even-numbered addresses
(building numbers) and unnumbered addresses are Mondays, Wednesdays, and

The Fort
Stewart/HAAF Passport Office located at the Soldier Service Center, building
253, on Fort Stewart will be closed through Sept. 3. During this period, there
will be no passport processing capabilities.

CARO FITNESS CENTER LABOR DAY WEEKEND HOURS
Caro Fitness Center, building 708, hours of operation will change for the
upcoming holiday weekend. The center will be open Friday and Saturday (Aug.
29-30) from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. It will be closed Sunday and Monday for the
Labor Day holiday and reopen Tuesday, Sept. 2 from 5 a.m. until 8 p.m. For more

4IBCT FITNESS CENTER CLOSED FOR DEDICATION, Aug. 26
The 4IBCT Fitness Center will be closed Aug. 26 from 9 a.m. until 1
p.m. for a ceremony renaming it the Charles R. Johnson Fitness Center. PFC
Johnson, 15th Infantry Regiment 3rd ID, was awarded the Silver Star
posthumously, 57 years after his actions at Outpost Harry in Korea. Johnson, of
Freedom Plains, N.Y., is credited with saving the lives of at least eight

TOP OF THE ROCK 5K & 10K RUN FOR RESILIENCY, Sept. 6

for male and female competitors, plus 10K Team Competition for Active Duty with

North). Bring your rifles or muzzle loaders of any caliber. No pistols or

Stewart/Hunter “Bend-the-Bar” Powerlifting and Bench Press Challenge at 10 a.m.
Sept. 20 at 4th IBCT Fitness Center. Men and women will compete in 12 weight

bench and deadlift. T-shirts will be given to each paying participant and

"THE ROCK" BODY BUILDING & FIGURE CONTEST, Nov. 1
Early registration is under way for The Rock Body
Building & Figure Contest Nov. 1 at Woodruff Theater on Fort Stewart. Cost

HUNTER AAF ARMY MWR SERVICES SURVEY UNDER WAY
An
exclusively online Army MWR Services Survey, tailored to determine present and
future service and recreation needs at Hunter Army Airfield, has begun. Active
Duty, spouses, retirees and DoD civilians who work, live or play at Hunter are

and confidential. The survey will take 10-15 minutes. MWR operates facilities such as Tominac

DAWN OF THE ZOMBIES 5K EARLY REGISTRATION: Until Aug.

race is in honor of Georgia Army National Guard's Fallen 42 Soldiers, presented

Hampton Lake in Bluffton, S.C., will
host the 7th Annual Tiger Bass 5k/12k Races and 1-mile Fun Walk, Sep. 20, 8
a.m., benefiting 'Bluffton Self Help' charity group. This is a 5K Road Race
(USATF Certified), 12K Cross Country Race (road and lake trails) and 1 Mile Fun

FORT MCALLISTER WOUNDED WARRIOR FISHING RODEO, Sept. 20
The Fort McAllister Sports Fishing Club, ICW community

If you have moved and are no longer
assigned to Fort Stewart or Hunter Army Airfield, follow these instructions to
change your duty location. Go to Milconnect at https://www.dmdc.osd.mil/milconnect,
login, select the "My profile" tab, select "Update and View My
Profile", select the tab that corresponds to your current role in DoD
(i.e. Mil, CIV, CTR, etc). On the duty
installation drop down menu select your correct duty location. Your name will be removed from Marne Message
distribution lists at the next scheduled update which is performed monthly.
