STEWART GUARDIAN 16 continues now at Hunter Army Airfield.  Be prepared to hear announcements or warning sirens over the Emergency Warning System and from emergency vehicles at Hunter.  Expect delays at gates and facilities. If asked, remain indoors until the all clear is given.  Follow instructions over the public address system or in the building or activity in which you are located. During the exercise, all forms of communication will be used to include but not limited to the Team Stewart website, Social Media, and the Early Warning System. All exercise announcements will be prefaced with "EXERCISE-EXERCISE-EXERCISE." *****************************************************************

(Today) STEWART DES CLOSURE:
The Police Admin section of the Directorate of Emergency Services located in building 253 will be closed due to relocation to building 226. The section will resume operations Monday. If you need assistance or have questions concerning this move, contact Deputy Chief Chesser, (912) 767-6328.

(Friday) DINNER AND A MOVIE AT CLUB STEWART:
Enjoy “Chocolat,” nominated for five Academy Awards and four Golden Globes, and a three-course gourmet meal at Club Stewart’s next “Dinner and a Movie” event Friday. The cost is $25 per person, which includes the dinner and the movie. Social hour, with all-you-can-eat appetizers, begins at 6 p.m. Dinner and the movie start at 7 p.m. Parents Night Out, open to all CYSS users and those who may wish to use the service so they can attend Dinner and a Movie, will be held Friday (Aug. 19) at CDC 403 at Stewart and CDC 1284 at Hunter, as well as the Stewart School Age Center, building 7160. "Inside Out,’ Pixar’s critically acclaimed animated children’s film, will be shown Saturday as part of the “Movies Under the Stars” series at Holbrook Pond on Fort Stewart. Emotions run wild in the mind of a little girl who is uprooted from her peaceful life in the Midwest and forced to move to San Francisco in this film, rated PG. TICKETS AVAILABLE FOR SESAME STREET SHOWS AT STEWART:
Sesame Street and its lovable characters are coming to Newman Fitness Center for shows at 6 p.m. Monday, and again Aug. 23. The Sesame Street/USO Experience for Military Family shows are free, but seating is limited. Advance tickets must be picked up at Stewart/Hunter Leisure Travel offices or Stewart Bowling Center. Katie, a military kid who is PCS-ing to a new base, is featured in the 40-minute show. She’s joined by characters such as Cookie Monster, Rosita, Elmo, Grover and Honker.
