SUMMER HIRE APPICATIONS NOW OPEN:
The summer hire student announcement is open today on USAJOBS.gov thru Wednesday. Students currently enrolled in a high school diploma, General Education Diploma (GED) Program, or post high school education program in good standing are eligible to apply. Applicants must be 16 years of age or older. If the applicant is 16 to 17 years of age, they must have a parental consent letter and work permit to apply. The easiest way for students to find it is to go to USAJOBS.gov. Type in keyword STEWART and you will see it halfway down on the first page in the listing of jobs. Click on the link and follow the instructions.

(Through Friday) SSA CLOSURE:
The Fort Stewart Supply Support Activity (SSA) will be closed through Friday for a 100% inventory.  During this time, only high priority requisitions approved by G8 will be processed.  For additional information individuals may contact (912) 435-0321.

(Today) STEWART FIRE WARDEN CLASS:
The next Fort Stewart Fire Warden’s class will be held 9 a.m., today in building 1851. All attendees are asked to bring a unit appointment letter stating they are the assigned fire warden for their unit/location with building number identified. For more information please call 912-767-7006.

(Today) MEN'S & WOMEN'S GOLF CLINIC AT STEWART:
Learn the basics of golf, or brush up on the skills you have during the Men’s and Women’s Golf Clinic taught by PGA Professional John Fesperman at 4 p.m. today at Taylors Creek Golf Course. The cost of $10 per person includes range balls. A limited number of clubs provided, if needed. Limited to six participants. The next two clinics will be offered on July 14 and Aug. 11. (Friday) HUNTER GARRISON COMMANDER'S GOLF SCRAMBLE:
Form a team or join one at the Hunter Garrison Commander’s Golf Scramble at Hunter Golf Course on Friday. You and your fellow players will have a chance to win a prize on every hole, to include pro shop items and various gift cards to popular local restaurants and stores. The four-person scramble will have an 9 a.m. shotgun start. The $35 per person cost includes greens fee, golf car, driving range balls, light lunch and prizes. $5 mulligan available for purchase. Love Paintball? Play at 10 a.m. Saturday with fellow Soldiers and those who have a passion for paintball. Register at the site on the day of event at Holbrook Outdoor Recreation Area (off Highway 144), or by calling 912-767-9917 or 912-271-5136. Players may use their own equipment or equipment provided by Outdoor Rec. Paint will be supplied. Cost is $10 per BOSS Soldier and extra fee for other players (includes lunch). (Saturday) "GET GOLF READY" AT HUNTER:
Register by Friday for “Get Golf Ready,” taught by PGA Professional Tommie McArthur, from 10 a.m. until noon Saturday at Hunter Golf Course. Open to both men and women beginners and novices. Learn the proper mechanics of golf, putting, short game, approach shots, rules and etiquette. The cost of $40 per person includes instruction and a one-month membership. (Saturday) SATURDAY SCRAMBLE AT TAYLORS CREEK:
Taylors Creek Golf Course launches its monthly “Saturday Scramble” series on Saturday. The $35 per person cost includes cart fee, greens fee, range balls, prizes and course contest. Registration begins at 8 a.m. Shotgun start at 9 a.m. Additional Saturday Scrambles are scheduled for July 9, Aug. 6, Sept. 17, Oct. 22, Nov. 5 and Dec. 10. For more information, call 912-767-2370.

(Monday, Wednesday, June 28) STEWART GARRISON COMMANDER SUPERVISOR FORUM:
The Garrison Commander will conduct mandatory training for all Garrison Civilian Supervisors and those in uniform that supervise Garrison Civilians, AF and NAF on Monday from 1:30-2:30 p.m., Wednesday from 10:30-11:30 a.m., and June 28 from 1-2 p.m. at the Fort Stewart Education Center Auditorium. Sign-in begins 30 minutes prior to start time. All supervisors are required to attend. The next Master Resilience Trainer Course will be conducted on Fort Stewart, Monday-June 24 at the SFC Paul R. Smith Army Education Center.
