FS/HAAF CHAPELS ANNUAL FALL FESTIVAL, tonight: 
The Fort Stewart Main Post Chapel and the Hunter Army Airfield Chapel will hold their Annual Fall Festival tonight. The Fall Festival activities will be held from 5:30- 7:30 p.m. at FS Main Post Chapel, Bldg 500; and Hunter Chapel, Bldg 145. In order to participate: ALL Children must be accompanied by their Parent or Legal Guardian. There will be 100% Parent /Legal Guardian Photo ID check. Everyone is invited to have a great time, enjoy food, fellowship, and become acquainted with the many RSO services/activities through the chapel programs, Religious Education and Worship Services. Prizes and candy will be given out to the children while they play in a safe and secure environment. No scary costumes please. HOT AIR BALLOON ACCESS, Saturday & Sunday:
All military and civilian vehicles must enter Rio Gate to access the Hot Air Balloon Festival, Saturday & Sunday. Rio Gate is the only access to the festival. Other Hunter areas will be accessible thru Montgomery St. Gate. Please plan accordingly. For more information, call 912-315-5617.

VOTING POLICY FOR APPROPRIATED/NON-APPROPRIATED FUND CIVILIAN EMPLOYEES:
Voting is a right and a civic duty.  Voting by employees is encouraged, however, it is not intended to be done on government time unless it can be demonstrated that a reasonable alternative cannot be found.  Excused absence will not be authorized for employees who desire to register or vote in an election or a referendum on a civic matter if the employee(s) can reasonably reach their polling place in time to register or vote before or after his/her tour of duty. To facilitate registration and voting by employees who cannot reach their polling place within reasonable times before or after their tour of duty, two bands of time have been established on election day. The first band begins when the polls open and ends 3 hours after opening.  The second band begins 3 hours before the polls close.  Insofar as is practical, without disrupting operations, employees who cannot reasonably reach the polling place on their own time may be excused so they can report to work within the first time band or leave work within the second time band and for the period of time which results in the lesser amount of time off.  In most cases, excused absence will not be necessary or appropriate. 
Excused time is applicable on election day only.  Excused time is not authorized for employees who vote before election day during the extended/early voting period.  For more information please contact the Installation Voting Assistance Officer (912) 767-6044.

WAAF WATER OUTAGE, Wednesday:
From 7:30-11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, a water outage will take place which will affect all of Wright Army Airfield. Outage is necessary to install a new water main. For more information, contact Ben Seacrist, DPW Contract/Construction Branch, at (912) 228-7114.

HUNTER FIRE WARDEN CLASS, Thursday:
The next HAAF fire warden’s class will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. in Fire Station Number 2 Building 1295. All attendees are asked to bring a unit appointment letter stating they are the assigned fire warden for their unit/location with building number identified. FSGA ENERGY PLANT OUTAGE, Nov. 7:
The Fort Stewart-Hunter Army Airfield Directorate of Public Works conducts scheduled energy plant outage, from noon, Nov. 7, 2014 until 5 p.m. Nov. 10, 2014.  Buildings affected are Bldg 212,213,215,216,218,501,503,504,514,515,516,629,630,631,632,633,634,635,636,637,712,713,714,715,717,719,720 and 810 The outages are necessary to repair and replace critical valves. CYBER SECURITY CLASS FOR SOLDIERS & FAMILY MEMBERS, Nov. 12-14:
Second Regional Cyber Center-Western Hemisphere (2RCC-WH, formerly known as RCERT), will host a Cybersecurity Class for Families 1-2 p.m. and 6-7 p.m. Nov. 13 at Woodruff Theater on Fort Stewart. The class is to create awareness of home cyber security importance and Army tools available for personal use, safe home computing, social media, smart phone/tablet safety & security (PII). Similar classes will also be made available to Soldiers on Nov. 12 at Woodruff Theater, 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. for 1ABCT and 188th Inf; 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for 2ABCT and 3SB; at Moon Theater, 1-2:30 p.m. for DHHB, 3ABCT, and 3CAB; 3-4:30 p.m. for 4IBCT. Other classes are Nov. 13 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. for Divarty, 92nd Engineers, 82nd CAB, and 83rd CBRN at Woodruff Theater; senior leaders 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Main Post Chapel; and on Nov. 14 privileged level users/S6s 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Woodruff Theater. MARNE DIVISION BALL, Nov. 21:
Come celebrate the 3rd Infantry Division’s 97th Birthday at beautiful Jekyll Island.  The Division Ball is at the Jekyll Island Convention Center, Nov. 21 starting at 5:30 p.m.  Guests are given the option of a fine chicken or steak meal and a memento.  The evening also includes a guest speaker, dancing, and a photographer on site to commemorate the evening.  Tickets are available through your Brigade or Unit representatives and are available only to 3ID military, DA civilians, contractors & Gold Star Families. FOOD HANDLER'S CLASS, Nov. 24:
This class will be held at Winn ACH in the Patriot Auditorium from 9-10 a.m. FREE class, certification is good for one year. To register for this class, please submit your first and last name to Mrs. Richele Martinez, Richele.L.Martinez.civ@mail.mil by COB Nov. 20. Pre-registration is a REQUIREMENT in order to attend this class, and you must be on time, no-walk-ins are permitted.  This class is mandated for all those dealing with food items on FSGA/HAAF (Unit functions, Organizational Days, FRG Events). SAVE THOSE JUGS!
Now that you have finished drinking the liquids (milk, tea, juice, etc.) out of those 1-gallon milk jugs, don't throw them away! Save them for a recycle project that the Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation will be creating AGAIN this year for the Christmas holiday season. Your contribution goes toward making igloos and other seasonal products. You have to see them to believe these awesome scenic display made from your very own recycles! MULTIPLE DISABILITIES SUPPORT GROUP:
ACS Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) is in the process of starting a support group for Families of Children with Multiple Disabilities. Families from both installations are welcomed to join. FORT STEWART YOUTH CENTER HOSTS COSTUME DANCE, Tonight:
Fort Stewart Youth Center will host a Costume Dance at building 5655 tonight from 7--10 p.m.  It is free to all CYSS members 11- 18 years old.  There will be a live DJ and light refreshments, as well as games and prizes. For more information, call 912-767-4491. 

"THE ROCK" BODY BUILDING & FIGURE CONTEST, Saturday:
The Rock Body Building & Figure Contest will be held Saturday at Woodruff Theater, building 410 on Fort Stewart. Weigh-in at 8 a.m., prejudging at 10 a.m. and the finals at 6:30 p.m. Cost to register is $35. There is an additional crossover fee of $15. Sign up at Newman Fitness Center. Awards will be presented for first, second and third place. Spectator fees are $5 for pre-judging and $10 for the finals. Spectators 13 and under free. RED, WHITE AND BLUE HOT AIR BALLOON FESTIVAL AT HUNTER, 
Saturday, Sunday:
Enjoy live music and entertainment during the Red, White and Blue Hot Air Balloon Festival Saturday and Sunday at Saber Hall, Hunter. All Balloon Festival patrons must enter Hunter via the Rio Gate. Festival hours are 6:30-10 a.m. and 4-8 p.m. Saturday and 6:30-10 a.m. Sunday. Tethered balloon rides, at $5 per person, will be offered each morning.
