PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS:
If you must be outdoors drink plenty of fluids even if
you are not thirsty, wear light weight clothing and stay out of direct
sunlight. Schedule frequent rest breaks in a shaded or air conditioned
environment. Know the signs of heat illnesses and be sure to check on those who
are most susceptible to the heat such as young children and the elderly. Never
leave children or pets in a vehicle. Anyone overcome by heat should be moved to
a cool and shaded location. Heat stroke is an emergency - call 9-1-1.
(Today until fixed) HUNTER AAFES PX MALL CLOSURES:
Stores in the Hunter AAFES PX Mall are currently closing
at Noon daily, or earlier if indoor temperatures reach 87 degrees. All stores
will be closed Saturday and Sunday. We appreciate your patience as we undergo
these critical air conditioning repairs.

The Master Resilience Trainer Course is being conducted
on Fort Stewart, through June 24 at the SFC Paul R. Smith Army Education

(Friday) COMMANDING GENERAL'S GOLF SCRAMBLE AT TAYLORS
CREEK:
All are invited to play in the Commanding General's Golf
Scramble at Taylors Creek Golf Course on Friday (June 17). Players will have a
chance to win a prize on every hole, including pro shop items and various gift
cards to popular local restaurants and stores, to name a few. The four-person
scramble will have an 8 a.m. shotgun start. The $45 per person cost includes
greens and cart fees, range balls, lunch, prizes and course contest. For more
