The 3rd ID will farewell Brig. Gen. Douglas Crissman,

to assume the deputy commanding general position in the United Kingdom’s 3rd

(Wednesday) SAVE THE DATE/ANNUAL SPRING HISTORIC CEMETERY
TOUR:
The Fort Stewart Annual Spring Historic Cemetery Tour is
scheduled for Wednesday, weather permitting. However, due to the inclement
weather forecast, it is advised that anyone interested in the trip call
912-435-9872/9873 beginning at noon Tuesday, to determine if the tour is still
planned. If it still occurs, the trip includes tours of Poplar Head,
Congressional, Smith and Smith Chapel cemeteries, along with a tour of the Mid
Coast Regional Airport. Attendees may dine at the dining facility for lunch
cost of $5.55, payable in advance the morning of arrival. Participants can meet
at the Pass and Permit Office, building 8093 on Hwy 144 or the Liberty County

The Army & Air Force Exchange Service is giving

(Thursday) STARBASE SAVANNAH SUMMER PROGRAM
REGISTRATION:
The STARBASE program is available to rising 6th, 7th, and
8th graders in military Families, now through Thursday. Session 1: June 13-16,
Robotics, 9 a.m. to Noon, Mon. - Thurs.
Sessions 2: June 20-23, Physical Science using the Engineering Design
Process, 9 a.m. - Noon, Mon. - Thurs. Applications can be picked up at STARBASE

(May 17) 2016 LEADERSHIP SEMINAR:
Hosted by the Equal Employment Opportunity Office,
Civilian Personnel Advisory Center, Management Employee Relations and Labor
Law. This one day seminar offers topics unique to Supervisors and Managers of
Federal Civilian Employees. If you are a Civilian or Military Supervisor of
Civilian employees and would like to learn about conflict management, employee
performance issues, your role in the EEO complaint process or how to have a
difficult conversation just to name a few, then this seminar is for you! The
Leadership Seminar will take place at the Fort Stewart Education Center on May

(May 18-24) PMP BOOT CAMP:
The Division Engineer will host a Project Management
Professional (PMP) “Boot Camp” from May 18-24. This is open to military and
civilian personnel. A professional trainer will facilitate the course -
designed to prepare participants for the PMP exam. Soldiers who pass the exam

(May 23) URGENT CARE PILOT:
Urgent Care Pilot starts May 23. The program authorizes
TRICARE Prime Enrollees two Urgent Care visits per fiscal year (Oct 1-Sep 30)
without a referral and authorization in any region. After two Urgent Care visits, a referral from
the patient's Primary Care Manager (PCM), would be required for future visits
to avoid Point-of-Service (POS) deductibles and cost-shares. Follow up visits are
not authorized without a referral from the PCM.
Please note: Active Duty Service Members, with the
exception of Service Members on TRICARE Prime Remote (TPR) status, cannot use
the Urgent Care Pilot. For additional questions, please contact the Health

SCHEDULE:
Dining Facilities open for Weekend/Holiday meals are
Thunder Café and Spartan DFACs. Spartan
DFAC will be closed after the lunch meal on 26 May and will reopen on 31 May
with the breakfast meal. Designated Weekend and Holiday Meal DFACs begin with
the supper meal on Friday. Hours are
Brunch 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Supper 5-6:30 p.m.
(May) FORT STEWART DINING FACILITY OPERATING HOURS:
Thunder Café (Bldg 3003, 1600 W. 6th Street), Marne
Bistro (Bldg 726, 1902 William H. Wilson Ave), and Spartan (Bldg 8439, Vanguard

Due to Army Library technology upgrades, Hays Library
