CORPS OF ENGINEERS VISIT:
Command Sergeant Major Bradley J. Houston will conduct an

Brigade and Battalion Command Teams to discuss enlisted promotions, senior NCO

(June) FORT STEWART DINING FACILITY OPERATING HOURS:
Thunder Café (building 3003, 1600 W. 6th
Street), Marne Bistro (building 726, 1902 William H. Wilson Ave), and Spartan
(building 8439, Vanguard Road) DFACs will be open for weekday breakfast, lunch,
and dinner meals, Monday-Friday.
Weekend/holiday hours begin with the supper meal on Friday (for the
training holiday on 17-19 June the weekend designated DFAC begins with supper
on 16 June). Spartan DFAC will close
after the lunch meal on 16 June and will reopen on 20 June with the breakfast

The 6th annual Baby Expo is scheduled for Club Stewart,

(Through September) SUMMER SAFETY CAMPAIGN:
The 100 Days of Summer campaign focusing on traffic
safety and motorcycle safety has begun and will continue through Sep. 1. There
will be increased safety checkpoints to ensure that drivers are buckling up and
driving safely by both Ft Stewart PD and surrounding Law Enforcement agencies.

(Ongoing) CAC SCAM FROM GOOGLE!:
There is an application from Google Play called CAC
Scan. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP! It can scan and decipher the bar code from
the front of your CAC Identification Card.
Doing this reveals the ID card holder's Personal Identifiable
Information (SSN, EDIPI, etc.) It is currently unknown what the App does with
this data but is considered to be a risk to an individual's identity. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP! The Google Play Store has been used to spread
Android specific malware before. Be
vigilant on any download or program installations on all of your devices and
seek only reputable developers and sources.
Keep your ID Card with you at all times and secured in a safe location
when you are not using it.

FMWR BRIEFS
(Today and June 6) TAYLORS CREEK, HUNTER GOLF COURSES
OFFER JUNIOR GOLF CAMPS:
Youth ages 7-17 will learn the basics of golf during fun,
six-week camps starting Tuesday (May 31) at Taylors Creek Golf Course and on
June 6 at Hunter Golf Course. The classes, taught by PGA Professionals John
Fesperman of Taylors Creek and Tommie McArthur of Hunter, will be from 9-11
a.m. Tuesdays at Taylors Creek Golf Course and Mondays at Hunter Golf Course.

The Corkan Recreation Area Outdoor Swimming Pool on Fort
Stewart (912-767-8575) and the Hunter Army Airfield Outdoor Pool/Water Spray
Park (912-315-5786) are open for the summer season. Hours are Thursday-Monday
from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. (Closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays.) Price is $3 daily.
Family and individual season passes are $80 each. Season passes can be
purchased at Stewart/Hunter Leisure Travel offices or at the pools. Kids under
4 are admitted free. Bryan Village Outdoor Pool is closed this season because
of a lack of certified lifeguards.
(Wednesday) JACKSONVILLE JAGUAR TICKETS GO ON SALE AT
LEISURE TRAVEL:

Jacksonville Jaguars home games will go on sale Wednesday at the Stewart/Hunter
Leisure Travel Offices. Prices vary according to the game. The Jaguars play
their home games at EverBank Field in Jacksonville and open their 2016 regular

HOLBROOK POND:
Kids (ages 15 and under) of Military ID cardholders are
invited to the free Whiskers & Bobbers Kids Fishing Day from 7-10 a.m. Saturday
at Holbrook Pond (off Ga. Hwy 144). Register on-site on the day of the event. A
limited number of T-shirts will be on sale for $10 each. Kids will be able to
catch up to five catfish each, plus have their catch cleaned. Prizes will be
awarded in three age groups for the largest catfish caught. Plus, there’ll be a
catfish tasting station, door prizes and the Bass Clubs will have a casting
competition. Permit and state fishing license fees will be waived. Parents can

MILITARYCHILDCARE.COM:
Beginning June 8, Fort Stewart/Hunter Army Airfield
parents requesting all types of child care will do so online through
MilitaryChildCare.com <http://www.MilitaryChildCare.com>, a Department of
Defense program designed to improve the child care search process. Requests for
full time, before/after school, before/after kinder, FCC, summer camp for
School Age Children (or any holiday camps) are affected by this change.
Currently, child care arrangements are handled through Stewart/Hunter Parent
Central Services. When the child care request process moves exclusively to
MilitaryChildCare.com on June 8, Stewart/Hunter Parent Central Services will
offer assistance with enrolling online and with other child care questions. The
move to MilitaryChildCare.com does not affect Youth Sports. Using
