Wednesday:
The Fort Stewart Health Benefits Fair is scheduled for
Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Patriot Auditorium at Winn Army
Community Hospital. Vendor
representatives will offer information on health, vision, and dental insurance
programs to our civilian employees. For

Steele Ave between Hero RD and Hase RD on FT. Stewart
will be closed through Dec. 26 for re-paving project. Road detour signs will be
posted for route around the construction site. Please avoid this area during

NOVEMBER/OTHER BRIEFS
TRAINING RESOURCE CONFERENCE, Nov. 24:
S-3's, Operations Sergeants Major, Master Gunners and
Schools NCO's are reminded that the next monthly Training Resource Conference
will be held Nov. 24, 9:30 a.m. at MOON THEATER. We will schedule training
devices, ranges and training areas up through May 2016. The next conference

THE EXCHANGE FREE MOVIE SHOWING, Dec. 5:
The Exchange will have an advanced movie showing at the
Stewart Theater, 3 p.m., Dec. 5. The movie, "In the Heart of the Sea”
rated PG-13, will be the260th Distributor/Exchange Appreciation Free Screening
of a major motion picture and 23rd this fiscal year. We like to have every seat
filled as this is what it takes to have continuous support from the film
companies for advanced/free showings. Tickets for this event will be available
at any concept in the Exchange Food Court starting Monday. Tickets are on a
first come, first served basis limit 5 per person. No purchase necessary. For

MONTHLY TOBACCO CESSATION CLASS SUSPENDED/RESCHEDULED:
Due to the Thanksgiving Holiday the tobacco cessation
class for November has been suspended. The next class will be Dec. 9. Classes
will provide tools on how to become tobacco free and how to stay tobacco free
if you have already quit. Open to all

MEET RISING PGA STAR SMYLIE KAUFMAN AT TAYLORS CREEK,
Tuesday:
Rising PGA star Smylie Kaufman, who won the Oct. 25 Las
Vegas Shriners Hospital for Children Open, will put on an exhibition of his
swing and winning techniques from 3-5 p.m. Tuesday at Taylors Creek Golf Course. Everyone is welcome to this free event
presented by Coca-Cola and MWR. Smylie’s PGA Tour victory earned him an
invitation to play in the 2016 Masters Tournament at Augusta. For more

TURKEY SHOOT AT HUNTER SKEET & TRAP RANGE, Thursday:

MARNE BOWLING CENTER TURKEY SHOOT:
Bowl two consecutive strikes during normal business hours
at Marne Bowling Center from now through Nov. 25 and you will win a frozen

SIGN UP FOR MANAGED DEER/HOG HUNT AT FORT STEWART, Dec.
19:
Active Duty Soldiers and Retirees can sign up until Dec.
8 at the Stewart or Hunter Pass and Permit offices for the final Outdoor
Recreation managed deer/hog hunt at Fort Stewart this season. The hunt will be
in the Bravo Area Dec. 19, with a selection drawing on Dec. 8. There will be 45
slots for active duty soldiers and five slots for retirees. A $25 fee per
hunter is payable upon selection. For more information, call either of the Pass

THUNDER RUN SCHEDULE WILL CHANGE, DEC. 1:
Beginning Dec. 1, Thunder Run restaurant at Club Stewart
will be closed for lunch on Mondays. Hours of operation Tuesday through Friday

DISC GOLF AT NEWMAN FITNESS CENTER:
A nine-hole Disc Golf Course has been laid out on the
grounds of Newman Fitness Center at Fort Stewart. Players can choose between
layouts of 3,178 yards (par 30) or 2,542 yards (par 28). There’s no charge.
Players can check out equipment at the Newman front desk or bring their own.

community along with community leaders, a chorale of voices from various

location. Go to Milconnect at https://www.dmdc.osd.mil/milconnect, login,
select the "My profile" tab, select "Update and View My
Profile", select the tab that corresponds to your current role in DoD
(i.e. Mil, CIV, CTR, etc.). On the duty
installation drop down menu select your correct duty location. Your name will be removed from Marne Message
distribution lists at the next scheduled update which is performed
