(Wednesday) CANCELLATION OF FORT STEWART SPRING HISTORIC CEMETERY TOUR:
Due to forecasted inclement weather, the Fort Stewart Spring Historic Cemetery Tour is cancelled for tomorrow. As time/personnel permits, a future tour may occur as a makeup or you may look forward to the Fall Historic Cemetery Tour which occurs in the September/October time frame. (Wednesday) LOTTS ISLAND CLOSURES:

(Friday) MILITARY SPOUSE APPRECIATION DAY SPECIALS BEGIN:
Friday is Military Spouse Appreciation Day, and Stewart/Hunter MWR has come up with dozens of offers and special prices as one way to show spouses serving here that they are appreciated. Some specials are just for that day, but others are for the week or longer. (Saturday) ALL-ARMY 10 MILER QUALIFIER RACE:
The second and final Stewart/Hunter All-Army 10 Miler Qualifier Race for 2016 will be held at Donovan Field Track (National Guard Training Area) at 6 a.m. Saturday. Top Active Duty male and female runners will represent 3rd ID in the All-Army race in Washington D.C. in October. Register at Stewart's Bennett Sports Complex (912-767-8238) or at race site at 5:30 a.m. Family Members, Retirees and DoD Civilians are welcome to run in the qualifier for fun. (Saturday) LONG RANGE SHOOT:
Opportunity for Soldiers, Retirees, Army Civilians, and civilian guests to sight in large caliber weapons (registered at Fort Stewart) from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday at Red Cloud Echo Range Complex (off GA Highway 119 North). Rifles of any caliber. No pistols or shotguns. Targets at 100-500 meters (paper) and 750-1,000 meters (steel). Cost is $15 per two-hour block/person. (Saturday) BOSS PAINTBALL AT STEWART:
Love Paintball? Play at 10 a.m. Saturday with fellow Soldiers and those who have a passion for paintball. Register at the site on the day of event at Holbrook Outdoor Recreation Area (off Highway 144), or by calling 912-767-9917 or 912-271-5136. Players may use their own equipment or equipment provided by Outdoor Rec. Paint will be supplied. Cost is $10 per BOSS Soldier and extra fee for other players (includes lunch). (Sunday) MOTHER’S DAY BRUNCH AT CLUB STEWART:
Make Mother’s Day a really special one for Mom this year. Take her to the Mother’s Day Brunch at Club Stewart Sunday from 10:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. We’ll have our breakfast items, a carving station, favorite side dishes and an array of delicious desserts. Save $3 on each adult ticket and $1 on each child ticket by purchasing tickets in advance at the club until May 4. Prices at door are $17.95 for adults and $7.45 for children (ages 3-10). (Monday) MONDAY NIGHT FUN LEAGUE MEETING AT MARNE BOWLING:
Looking for a relaxed, affordable league for bowlers of all skill levels? Attend the league meeting at 6:20 p.m. Monday at Marne Bowling Center and join us for 12 weeks of fun. (May 13) LOW COUNTRY BREWS & BITES AT HUNTER CLUB: 
Hunter Club will host the Low Country Brews & Bites starting at 5 p.m. May 13. Meet a beer sommelier from Coastal Empire Beer Co. Enjoy a sumptuous serving of foods such as Bangkok Shrimp Salad, paired with Inshore Slam IPA, or Southern Delight Beer Can Chicken, paired with Southern Delight Amber Ale. (May 14) Canoe/Kayak Float Trip on the Ogeechee River:
Enjoy the great outdoors on a Leisure Travel Canoe/Kayak Float Trip on the Ogeechee River starting at 8 a.m. May 14. The cost is just $20 per person and includes transportation to the trip’s start and end point. Youth under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Paddlers must be at least 12 years old. (MAY 21) MARNE TRAIL BASS TOURNAMENT AT PINEVIEW LAKE: 
The third of five catch-and-release Marne Trail Bass Tournaments will be held at 6:30 a.m. May 21 at Pineview Lake on Fort Stewart. Cash prizes are $250 for first-place (total weight, five-fish maximum per person) and $100 for the largest bass. Door prizes awarded after weigh-in at 11 a.m.  Fee is $20 during Early Bird Registration (until April 30) for Active Duty Soldiers, Retirees and their Family Members and youth (15 years old and younger). Registration ends June 6 for the Summer Ichetuckneee River (Florida) Tubing trip on June 11. The cost is $30 per person, which includes entry fees, transportation and tube rental fee. Play nine holes and drive the Monday blues away with each birdie and eagle at Taylors Creek Golf Course. The Monday Blitz has a special $23 per person price that includes golf car, greens fee, a range ball token and prizes.
