HUNTER GAS KIOSK CHANGES HOURS, Feb. 8:
Hours for the Gas Kiosk on S. Perimeter Rd. on Hunter Army Airfield will change Feb. 8.  The new hours are 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information, call 912-315-5617.


FORT STEWART DINING FACILITY OPERATING HOURS, February:
The Fort Stewart and HAAF Dining Facilities cordially invite DA Civilians and Family Members to dine with us.  Legion (building 207, 660 Harmon Ave), Thunder Café (building 3003, 1600 W. 6th Street), Marne Bistro (building 726, 1902 William H. Wilson Ave), and Spartan (building 8439, Vanguard Road) DFACs will be open for weekday breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals, Monday - Friday.  Weekend/holiday hours begin with the supper meal on Friday (for the training holiday Feb. 12-15 February the weekend designated DFAC begins with supper Feb. 11). Spartan DFAC will close after the lunch meal Feb. 11 and will reopen Feb. 16 with the breakfast meal. Dining Facilities open for Weekend/Holiday meals are Marne Bistro and Spartan DFACs.  Spartan DFAC will be closed after the lunch meal Feb. 11 and will reopen Feb. 16 with the breakfast meal.  Designated Weekend and Holiday Meal DFACs begin with the supper meal on Friday (for the training holiday Feb. 12-15, designated DFAC begins with supper Feb. 11).  Hours are Brunch 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Supper 5-6:30 p.m.

AER CAMPAIGN PROJECT OFFICER TRAINING, Feb. 11, 18, 23, 24, 25:
The Army Emergency Relief campaign, which started in 1942, kicks off March 1 and runs through May 15.  Project Officer training for Fort Stewart is Feb. 11, 18, or 25 from 1300-1400 at the Fort Stewart ACS Bldg 87 classroom; and for Hunter AAF is Feb. 23-24 and 25 at 0930 the HAAF ACS Bldg #1286 classroom.  For more information, call 912-767-5058.


COMMISSARY ACCEPTING SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS, through Feb. 12:
The Scholarships for Military Children Program will be accepting applications from eligible students through Feb. 12 at the Fort Stewart Commissary.  At least one scholarship will be awarded at every commissary location where qualified applications are received. Additional recipients will be selected based on a prorated basis, so more scholarships will be awarded at those commissaries with larger applicant numbers. POWER OUTAGE, Feb. 15:

FIELD SANITATION TEAM TRAINING, Feb. 22-26:
Field Sanitation Team training will be taking place Feb. SPOUSE PREFERENCE BRIEFING, Feb. 23 & 24:
The Fort Stewart CPAC will be offering a briefing on Military Spouse Preference, Priority Placement Program, and Executive Order 13473 regarding registration, referral and placement procedures. WINN ARMY COMMUNITY HOSPITAL PHARMACY RENOVATION, RELOCATION, ongoing:
The Winn Army Community Hospital (ACH) Outpatient Pharmacy is closing for renovations and upgrades to better serve our beneficiaries. Outpatient beneficiaries will not be able to fill prescriptions in the hospital. Active Duty beneficiaries will receive new prescriptions at the Hawks Troop Medical Clinic, Building 412. Refills must be called in using the automated call-in refill system (912-435-6576) and will continue to be picked up at the Refill Pharmacy, Building 419, next to the Commissary. All non-Active Duty beneficiaries will receive new and refill prescriptions at the Refill Pharmacy, Building 419, next to the Commissary. All refills must be called in using the automated call-in refill system (912-435-6576). Pediatric patients seen at the Winn ACH Pediatric Clinic will continue to receive prescriptions at the Winn Pediatric Pharmacy, co-located with the clinic. NEW AUTOMATED ENTRY PROCEDURES:
The new Automated Installation Entry (AIE 2+) process testing has begun. Once a person scans their CAC/Family Member/Retiree identification at the gate, they will automatically be registered in the AIE system. This will take approximately 15 seconds to complete and entry thereafter should be 3-5 seconds. This system checks individuals for warrants, installation revocations/debarments, criminal backgrounds, wants, and security alerts. To save time and speed up the entry process, ID card holders may also register in the AIE2+ at the Directorate of Emergency Services Registration offices at Fort Stewart (building 226) and Hunter Army Airfield (building 1286), Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m. For more information, 912-767-1883.


CONTROLLED BURN NOTICE:
Fort Stewart's Forestry Branch is in the midst of a controlled burn season and will be conducting controlled burns at various locations on the Installation each week. ENTERPRISE EMAIL SIZE LIMITATIONS, ongoing:
Per Department of the Army CIO/G6 Policy dated 16 Dec 15, DISA has begun enforcement of the 4-gigabyte mailbox size limit for SIPR and NIPR accounts. Once the 4GB limit is in place, mailboxes that exceed the limit will lose functionality until the size is reduced. As a result of exceeding the size limit, you will receive a warning notice to reduce your mailbox when it approaches the authorized limit and you will lose the ability to send email when the mailbox reaches its authorized limit. If you fail to take action to reduce the size of the mailbox, you will also lose the ability to receive email and a non-delivery notification will be received by anyone attempting to send to your mailbox. To assist you in managing the size of your mailbox, several resources are available with the links noted in a complete pdf of all TTPs at https://esd-crm.csd.disa.mil/app/answers/detail/a_id/1639. Please contact your local S6/G6 help desk for assistance in implementing any of the above TTPs. HASE ROAD CLOSURE, ongoing:
The intersection of Hase Road and McNeely Avenue will be closed for approximately 120 days to construct new traffic circle. Message boards and detour signs will be placed to direct traffic around the construction area, please avoid this area during construction to avoid traffic congestion. BIBLE STUDY AT MARNE CHAPEL, Wednesdays:
Noon Wednesdays at Marne Chapel, a New Bible Study/Discussion for 2016 will be offered every Wednesday. BOSS ORLANDO TRIP REGISTRATION, ends Today:

GBS LEADERSHIP, CITIZENSHIP PROGRAM, February:
During February, Sons of the American Legion, Squadron 154, is accepting resumes from two young men of active-duty military parents to attend Georgia Boys State, GBS, a one-week summer leadership and citizenship program.  All applicants must have just completed their junior year in high school; be a citizen or legal resident of the U.S.; be good students, be well adjusted and show qualities of leadership in school and their community.
