TODAY THROUGH MONDAY:
(Today) INCREASED MILITARY TRAFFIC ON STEWART HIGHWAYS:
Military convoys will be travelling in greater numbers
than normal on Fort Stewart highways 144 and 119
today. The 3rd ID is wrapping up its field training exercise and driving it's
vehicles back to the motorpools. Motorists should use extreme caution while
driving on Fort Stewart's highways today. Remember, military vehicles are allowed
to drive only 40 mph. Approach and pass with care. Watch for mud and dirt at
tank trail intersections and on the road.
(Today) 2016 LIBERTY COUNTY SCHOOLS MILITARY REGISTRATION
DAY:
Liberty County Schools Military Registration Day will be
today from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the student’s school. To assist and ease Military
Families with their transition into Liberty County School System, all Liberty
County Schools will be registering students, providing school and district
information, giving class assignments, and answering academic and
school-related questions for the 2016-2017 School Year. Certain forms of
identification, proof of residence, report cards/transcripts, and medical forms

(Friday) JOHNSON FITNESS CENTER TO CLOSE EARLY:
Johnson Fitness Center will close at 6 p.m. Friday for
floor maintenance. The center, located in building 8437, will reopen at 9 a.m.
Saturday and resume its normal operating hours.
(Friday) ‘CINDERELLA’ FEATURED IN HOLBROOK “MOVIES UNDER
THE STARS:
“Cinderella,” rated PG13, will be the featured film
Friday as part of the Holbrook Pond “Movies Under the Stars” series. The movie
is free and begins at sundown. It will last 105 minutes. Popcorn and drinks will
