2015 U.S. ARMY SOLDIER SHOW AT HUNTER, Thursday:

The 2015 U.S. Army Soldier Show, a high-energy, live Army Broadway-style musical production that has won praise from audiences across the country on the first months of its tour, will be at Hunter’s Tominac Fitness Center at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. There is no admission charge and the public is welcome. JULY - OTHER HEADLINES

 

HUNTER TRAFFIC WARNING FOR NORTH PERIMETER ROAD, JULY 20 through DEC 07: 

Commuters are encouraged to use caution on Hunter Army Airfield as road construction is planned for North Perimeter Road between Wilson Blvd and Gannam Ave. The road will be closed from 7 a.m. July 20 until Dec 07. Detour signs and traffic control devices will be displayed for the duration of the road closure.  Motorists are encouraged to avoid this area to minimize traffic congestion and be alert to changes in traffic patterns.  For more information call DPW, Ben Seacrist at 767-3269 or 228-7114.

 

FOOD HANDLING CERTIFICATION COURSE SLATED, July 27:

This free class is mandated for all those dealing with food items on FSGA/HAAF to include unit functions, organizational days and FRG Events. This class will be held at Winn ACH in the Patriot Auditorium from 10:30-1130 a.m.  Class certification is good for one year and pre-registration is a requirement. NEW ACS INTERACTIVE CALENDAR:

FORT STEWART DINING FACILITY OPERATING HOURS, July: 

The Fort Stewart and HAAF Dining Facilities cordially invite DA Civilians and Family Members to dine with us.  Legion (building 207, 660 Harmon Ave), Raider (Bldg. 642, 1312 William H. Wilson Ave), Thunder Café (Bldg. 3003, 1600 W. 6th Street), and Spartan (Bldg. 8439, Vanguard Road). DFACs will be open for weekday breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals, Monday - Friday.  Weekend/holiday hours begin with the supper meal on Friday (for the training holiday on 3 - 6 July, the weekend designated DFAC begins with supper on Thursday).  Dining Facility information can be found on the Team Stewart webpage at: http://www.stewart.army.mil/info.asp?e=DFAC. The Fort Stewart and HAAF Dining Facilities cordially invite DA Civilians and Family Members to dine with us.  Dining Facilities open for Weekend/Holiday meals are Raider and Spartan DFACs.  Spartan DFAC will be closed after the lunch meal on 2 July and will reopen with the breakfast meal on 7 July. Designated Weekend and Holiday Meal DFACs begin with the supper meal on Friday (for the training holiday on 3 - 6 July, the weekend designated DFAC begins with supper on 2 July).  Hours are Brunch 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Supper 5-6:30 p.m.

Relax at a simple, but elegant reception at Hunter Club prior to the 7 p.m. performance of the U.S. Army Soldier Show at Tominac Fitness Center. The U.S. Army Soldier Show Brews & Bites Reception will be from 4:30-6:30 p.m.  Enjoy a generous portion of each of our food offerings, in addition to Budweiser specialty products. 2015 LIBERTY COUNTY SCHOOLS MILITARY REGISTRATION DAY, July 27:

Liberty County Schools Military Registration Day will be July 27 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Registration will take place at your specific school. To assist and ease Military Families with their transition into Liberty County School System, all Liberty County Schools will be registering students, providing school and district information, giving class assignments, creating schedules, and be able to answer academic and school related questions for the 2015-2016 School Year. REGISTER FOR FREE SCHOOL SUPPLIES

SIGN-UP FOR YOUTH FALL SOCCER LEAGUES AT HUNTER:

Registration for youth fall soccer continues until July 30, with practice beginning in mid-August and season play starting in late September at Hunter Youth Sports and Savannah YMCA fields.
