STEWART GUARDIAN 16: From Monday through Friday (August
15-19), Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield will conduct an Emergency
Response Exercise, known as Stewart Guardian 16. This exercise is required by
Army and Department of Defense Regulations and will test the installation's
capability to respond to emergency events that could happen. During the
designated days, be prepared to hear announcements or warning sirens over our
Emergency Warning System and from emergency vehicles.
Delays may
occur at gates and facilities, so please adjust your schedules as necessary. At
times you may be asked to remain indoors until the all clear is given.
Please follow
the instructions given over the public address system or in the building or
activity in which you are located.
During the
exercise, all forms of communication will be used to include but not limited to
the Team Stewart website, Social Media, and the Early Warning System.
All exercise
announcements will be prefaced with "EXERCISE-EXERCISE-EXERCISE”. Your
patience is requested as we conduct this exercise to maintain our readiness and

TODAY/THIS WEEK
(Today) SHOOTING FACILITIES OPEN TO PUBLIC:
Beginning today, public skeet/trap, archery, small arms
range and paintball enthusiasts can enjoy their favorite shooting sports in addition
to other recreational facilities now available to them at Fort Stewart-Hunter
Army Airfield. Vehicle access passes are not necessary for any of Fort
Stewart’s shooting sports facilities, as all are located just outside the
gates/access control points. Passes are needed for use of Taylors Creek Golf
Course, Marne Bowling Center and Club Stewart.
Vehicle access passes are needed for those who wish to
use the Hunter Skeet/Trap Range or Hunter Golf Course, which are located within

(Tuesday) FRG LEADER/TREASURER TRAINING:
On Tuesday, ACS Mobilization and Deployment Team will
conduct 2 trainings that will certify volunteers who wish to help their units
Family Readiness Group or FRG. Starting at 9 a.m., ACS will conduct FRG Leader
Training for volunteers who wish to step into a leadership role. At 1 p.m., ACS will then have the Treasurer
training. Both trainings are mandatory
for volunteers who wish to work in these roles.

An internal audit of the Fort Stewart-Hunter Army
Airfield Sustainability Management System will be conducted Aug. 23-25. The objective
of the audit is to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and
conformance with the International Organization for Standardization’s (ISO)
14001 standard used for our SMS. Audit assessors will use checklists, document
reviews, interviews, and observations to evaluate the compliance of various
environmental programs as well as the conformance of our SMS. Assessors will
conduct random interviews of FS/HAAF Soldiers, Civilians, and contractors
throughout the Installation in order to determine the workforce’s awareness of
the SMS and general knowledge of the Sustainability Policy. For more

If you can dedicate 10 days in order to become a Spouse

training will tentatively be conducted in October, and due to training
requirements, participants can only miss 2 hours of class. If your schedule can allow, and you are

(Ongoing) BREAST PUMPS AND TRICARE:
Hospital Grade Breast Pump still requires clinical
justification from the PCM; meaning they will need to be supported with a DME
referral and a Medical Necessity Form/Prescription. Standard Breast Pump and supplies (not
special parts) do not need to be supported with clinical justification from the
PCM, but do need to be supported with a PRESCRIPTION from the PCM. The patient
should be able to submit to any TRICARE network DME provider. It's is highly
suggested to use network DME Vendors if the patient does not want to have to
file for reimbursement. If the patient uses an outside retail vendors,
reimbursement will not be authorized if the proper documentation has not been
submitted. Breast Feeding Counseling would need to be supported with a

MARNE MESSAGE SUBMISSIONS:
Marne Message submission weekly deadline is no later than
8:30 a.m. Mondays and Thursdays. The Marne Message submission email address is:
USARMY Fort Stewart ID List ALL Message Request (on the global) or typed as:
usarmy.stewart.3-id.list.all-message-request@mail.mil. In order to keep the
Marne Message timely and concise, limit submissions to 75 words or less. Do not
use military times. Attachments cannot be included, but links to more online
information can. Only official installation, MWR, or command directed messages
are considered.
WANT TO GET MARNE MESSAGES?
Individuals wishing to get the Marne Message, who do not
have a Fort Stewart - Hunter Military Email Account, can visit the 3rd Infantry
Division on Facebook page at:
www.facebook.com/3rd.Infantry.Division. If you have a Fort Stewart -
Hunter Military Email Account and don’t automatically get the Marne Message,
you can request an account by sending an email to “USARMY Ft Stewart 3 ID
Mailbox Marne Message” or usarmy.stewart.3-id.list.all-message-request@mail.mil

IF YOU HAVE PCS'D:
If you have moved and are no longer assigned to Fort
Stewart or Hunter Army Airfield, follow these instructions to change your duty
location. Go to Milconnect at https://www.dmdc.osd.mil/milconnect, login,
select the "My profile" tab, select "Update and View My
Profile", select the tab that corresponds to your current role in DoD
(i.e. Mil, CIV, CTR, etc.). On the duty
installation drop down menu select your correct duty location. Your name will
be removed from Marne Message distribution lists at the next scheduled update
which is performed monthly. If you have
any problems, send an email to “USARMY Ft Stewart 3 ID Mailbox Marne Message”
